Buyer/Senior Buyer – IT | London | Hybrid
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buyer/Senior Buyer with some IT experience to join a major UK infrastructure business during a significant phase of growth and transformation.
This role will support end-to-end procurement activity across IT and corporate functions, working closely with stakeholders to deliver sourcing strategies, supplier engagement, contract management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will play a key role in supporting high‑value procurement activities within a complex and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting procurement activity from sourcing through to contract award.
* Assisting with supplier negotiations, RFP/RFQ processes, and contract management.
* Building strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
* Ensuring procurement compliance, governance, and best practice.
* Supporting reporting, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Some experience within IT procurement/category management.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Understanding of commercial contracts and procurement processes.
* Ability to work across multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
* CIPS qualification or studying toward CIPS desirable.
