The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality, personalised education to the family's children, ensuring their academic success, and overall development. The governess/tutor will be required to work closely with the family to tailor educational programs to meet the children's unique needs, interests, and learning styles. Job Title: Live-in Private Tutor for HNW Family Location: Worldwide, base in London and Europe Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications Job Type: Full-time, live-in position Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive, personalised curriculum for the children, covering core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Art, and additional subjects as required. Be able to develop curriculum based on best practices from Russian, Chinese, British and American curriculums. Provide one-on-one instruction, ensuring the children's academic progress and mastery of key concepts and skills. Create a stimulating, engaging, and nurturing learning environment, incorporating a variety of teaching methods, materials, and technologies. Prepare the children for standardized tests, entrance exams, and interviews, as applicable. Communicate regularly with the family, providing updates on the children's progress, addressing any concerns, and suggesting strategies for supporting their learning outside of tutoring sessions. Collaborate with the family to plan and facilitate extracurricular activities, including sports, music, art, and cultural experiences, to enrich the children's education and promote their overall development. Accompany the family on travel, as needed, ensuring continuity of the children's education and providing support during trips and vacations. Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality when dealing with the family's personal matters. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area; advanced degrees or teaching certifications are a plus. Has an extensive experience in primary classroom teaching and tutoring. Driving licence. Knowledge of the education systems and differences, entrance exams. Demonstrated ability to design and implement personalised curricula and learning plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with both children and parents. Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the family's values and traditions. First Aid and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain these certifications. Willingness to undergo a thorough background check. Nice to have: Spanish language proficiency would be an advantage.
