Career Teachers are working with a secondary school that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join their Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students and join a thriving school community!
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well‑structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
Plan and deliver creative lessons that promote critical thinking and historical understanding
Assess and monitor student progress, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged
Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom management
Candidate Profile
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, positive approach and commitment to student success
