What Are We Looking For?
Our Chemical and Biological team is seeking a Plastic Fabricator to join our Dalgety Bay office on a permanent basis. You will be part of an experienced team working on water projects across Scotland.
Please note, this position requires flexibility regarding work location, with accommodation provided by RSE.
Key Duties Include:
1. Fabricate components from customer samples and engineering drawings to customer specifications, and maintain/repair existing pipework systems.
2. Work with components such as PVC, PP, PVDF, and ABS pipework.
3. Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems.
4. Carry out installation work within the workshop and on-site.
5. Inspect materials and parts to ensure high standards are maintained.
6. Ensure safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
7. Opportunities to work both within our local fabrication workshop and remotely as part of our site installation team.
8. Assist other disciplines when required.
What Do You Need?
1. SVQ or City and Guilds qualification in a relevant trade.
2. General fabrication/pipework knowledge and experience.
3. Ability to understand and reproduce components from engineering drawings and/or customer samples.
4. Organizational skills and ability to plan a sequence of events to fabricate a component from start to finish.
5. Capable of self-checking work and maintaining high standards regarding Environment, Quality, and Health & Safety.
6. Full UK Driving Licence.
