Your Role: What Will You Be Doing?
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering a caseload of service users to manage their health and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing support to service users between 8 AM and 10 PM, Monday to Sunday.
* Monitoring wellbeing, mental health, housing, and living environments.
* Collaborating with your team to ensure a smooth journey towards independence.
* Adopting a solution-focused and co-produced approach to support service users in their transition to independent living.
What Do You Need to Bring?
We’re looking for individuals who can demonstrate the core skills required for this role and align with our values and mission. You don’t need to check every box right away; what matters most is your willingness to learn. We also value lived experience in the areas we support, so feel free to share this in your application.
What We’re Looking For:
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Experience supporting individuals with mental health and dual diagnosis issues, in both paid and voluntary roles.
* A quick learning ability, with a knack for gathering and processing information accurately.
* A calm, non-judgmental, and anti-discriminatory approach to managing challenging behavior.
* Optimism about people's capacity for change, using a solution-focused mindset to support progress.
* Comfort in high-pressure or chaotic environments, with flexibility to adapt to team rotas, including early, late, and occasional weekend shifts.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and the ability to respond to concerns appropriately.
