Banana Moon Day Nurseries is searching for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth operational and educational practices of the nursery while delivering exceptional care for the children.
As the Deputy Manager, you will support the Manager in managing daily operations, leading a passionate team of childcare professionals, and enhancing the quality of learning and development for our children. Your leadership will be crucial in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Support and mentor nursery staff to maintain high standards of care and education.
* Implement and evaluate the nursery's curriculum and educational programs.
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with nursery policies.
* Act as a role model for staff, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
* Experience in a senior role within a nursery or early years setting.
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding policies.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for nurturing children's development and education.
* DBS clearance and relevant training certifications.
