Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Supported Living Locality Manager, located in Nuneaton. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of supported living services within the locality, ensuring high standards of care are delivered consistently. Responsibilities include leading and supervising staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements, coordinating care plans, managing budgets, and fostering a supportive environment for both individuals and team members. The manager will also act as a key liaison with families and external professionals to ensure the delivery of person-centered services.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
Knowledge of supported living services and best practices for working with individuals who have learning disabilities or additional needs.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
Experience in preparing and implementing care plans and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation within a care setting.
Professional qualifications in health and social care or management are highly desirable (e.g., Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent).
Commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and person-centered care.
Previous experience in managing supported living or similar care services is a distinct advantage.
