Sous Chef
Were looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to assist our Head Chef in leading our kitchen team to deliver exceptional food experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in quality, consistency, and creativity.
This role is based in the beautiful and popular seaside village of Abersoch in North Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team in the Head Chefs absence
Assist with the design and development of seasonal menus
Oversee food preparation and ensure high standards of presentation
Manage stock, ordering, and food costs
Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards
Train and develop kitchen team
Work closely with front-of-house to ensure smooth service
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or similar
Strong leadership and communication skills
Creative approach to menu development
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Ability to perform under pressure
