White Horse Employment are proud to be partnering with a well‑established business in Melksham who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their Group Finance team.
This is a brilliant entry‑level opportunity for a recent finance graduate, offering hands‑on experience, strong technical development, and exposure to Group reporting, audit, and IFRS which will give you an excellent foundation for a long‑term career in finance and accounting.
The Role:
Working closely with the Group Finance Team, you’ll gain broad experience across:
* Monthly Group order, revenue, and overhead reporting
* Balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
* Journal preparation and analytical review of financial data
* Supporting Annual & Interim reporting
* Assisting with the annual audit and statutory accounts for multiple entities
* Completing ONS surveys and supporting corporation tax and transfer pricing tasks
* Creating projects and raising purchase requests in the ERP system
* Supporting internal audits and ad hoc finance projects
About You
* Degree educated (2:1+ in Accounting/Finance/Economics or similar)
* Strong attention to detail, eager to learn, and proactive
* Confident communicator with good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Any relevant experience (internship/placement/part‑time role) is helpful but not essential
