A listed Oil & Gas production business is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant. Your new company A UK listed group of Oil & Gas businesses with operations on 2 continents. The company has a mix of production and exploration assets, some fully owned and some partially owned through a Joint Venture structure. The business has been in operation for over 30 years and will see significant growth in the next 5 years. Your new role Reporting to the Group FC and CFO, this role will take ownership of all Financial and JV reporting, including audits, cashflow, budgets and statutory accounting. Duties include: Bookkeeping AP Joint venture accounting and JV budgets Support of statutory process including audit liaison Preparation and filing of UK VAT returns What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a qualified by experience with exposure of Financial Accounting, ideally in Oil & Gas or engineering industry. This will be a largely remote role, so you will need to be able to work independently and own the accounting process for multiple group entities.
