Manchester Community College anticipates openings for on-campus adjunct instructors to teach on-campus classes in the area of Welding.
Specific needs include instructors for SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, OFC, PAC, experience in Fabrication. Evening & Day instructors needed.
Preference is given to those with higher education teaching experience, familiarity with learning management systems (such as Blackboard or Canvas), and community service engagement. Applications are being accepted, but there is no immediate need for all disciplines. Your information will remain on file and active.
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period, and may include in-class or online instruction.
The Vice President of Academic Affairs will determine adjunct levels based on education and experience. Rates for Fall 2025 are:
* Level 1 - $825.00 per contact hour
* Level 2 - $900.00 per contact hour
* Level 3 - $975.00 per contact hour
Courses in Welding are typically 4-6 contact hours.
