We are now looking for an AutoCAD Designer & Administrative Support professional to join our team in Chawston. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills while playing a key role in supporting our design function. In this varied and rewarding position, you will support the design team by producing accurate, high-quality drawings and providing essential administrative support.
Responsibilities
* Producing presentation drawings from spreadsheets, specifications, or hand‑drawn sketches, including small cabin layouts, modular buildings, large multi‑storey buildings, internal space planning, elevations, foundation pad layouts, and site plans.
* Amending, reviewing, and issuing drawings in line with project requirements.
* Recording revisions and maintaining organised drawing records and files.
* Providing general administrative support to the design team.
* Working to deadlines in a fast‑paced office environment.
Qualifications
* Experience using 2D AutoCAD is essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A quick learner with a passion for accuracy and quality.
* Able to work well under pressure and manage workload effectively.
* A proactive, can‑do attitude.
* Professional appearance and reliable timekeeping.
* Basic awareness of building regulations is advantageous (full training provided).
* Access to own vehicle essential due to rural location.
* Knowledge of Revit is desirable but not essential.

* Basic awareness of building regulations.
* Experience in Revit software.
