Material Inventory ControllerLocation: RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire (100% onsite)Contract: 6 months (likely extension)Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 07:00-19:00)Pay Rate: £18.30 PAYE / £24.47 Umbrella per hourClearance: BPSS+ (with ability to obtain SC clearance if required)About the OpportunityGuidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit Material Inventory Controllers to join the Airbus Atlas Support Centre at RAF Brize Norton.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical national defence programme, supporting the Royal Air Force to maintain the airworthiness and readiness of its fleet both in the UK and overseas. The work you do will directly support essential operations, making a tangible impact on public safety and national security.You will join a collaborative logistics and warehouse team responsible for ensuring materials are managed efficiently to support maintenance and flying programmes.What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you will play a key part in ensuring materials and inventory are handled accurately, safely, and in line with operational priorities. You will:Manage material movements and transactions in line with operational prioritiesCarry out picking, packing, and stock handling activities with accuracyEnsure all system transactions and documentation are completed correctly (SAP and warehouse systems)Maintain accurate stock records and ensure correct storage of materialsSupport inbound and outbound warehouse operationsConduct stock checks and assist with inventory auditsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environmentIdentify and escalate any process or system issues to the management teamCollaborate with colleagues across warehouse and logistics functionsWhat We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a team environment.
