Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to join our Children and Young Peoples Physiotherapy service based at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. This Fife‑wide service requires working across various settings including clinics, schools, and children’s homes. Your caseload will be varied with musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions and may also involve the rehabilitation of children who have suffered major trauma. Experience in working with children and young people of all ages is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care to children and young people across Fife in a variety of settings.
* Deliver physiotherapy for musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, and trauma rehabilitation cases.
* Collaborate with Children’s and Young People’s Physiotherapy team and other clinical leads.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree level education in physiotherapy.
* HCPC registration.
* Postgraduate autonomous clinical experience.
* Experience across multiple care groups and community settings is an advantage.
* Excellent communication, organisation and clinical reasoning skills.
Requirements
Ability to travel throughout Fife during the working day. Flexibility to balance clinical and non‑clinical duties. Willingness to engage in mentoring, supervision and support for students.
Professional Development
Mentoring and supervision provided by a Paediatric Orthopaedic Advanced Practitioner and other Clinical/Team Lead Physiotherapists. Opportunities for leadership development, further education and external courses are supported where appropriate.
