The role?
A new role has arisen here at EnerMech for a Trainee Hose Technician to join the team in our Hose workshop. This is a permanent onshore role and will include a base salary and opportunity for overtime. This role would ideally suit someone who is mechanically minded, has had some work experience in a Workshop Technician role and is looking to train or develop in a Hose Workshop.
You will get the opportunity to shadow our established Technicians/Snr Technicians and learn the manufacturing of hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies as well as pressure testing.
Main duties and responsibilities will include;
* Ensuring workshop area is kept clean, tidy and safe and that all company equipment is kept in good order
* Ensuring project requirements are met within the time allocated
* Working as part of a team with members of the workshop and other departments
* Upholding the standards of the company and working in line with the company systems and objectives
* Participating in Tool Box Talks and Time Out For Safety briefs
* May be required to recommend possible solutions to problems identified with the customer hoses, applications or operating procedures and carry out remedial actions when appropriate
You are?
To be successful for this position you will ideally come from a mechanical background and worked in a workshop environment previously. Having an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering would be an advantage. We are looking for candidates who wish to further their career into a specific field such as Industrial Hoses and progress their role within a growing organisation. Training will be provided.
