Goodheart surgery is a training practice with approximately 6350 patients based at one site within a purpose built health centre. Our team includes 2 Gp’s 1 Gp registrar, 2 practice nurses, 1 Gp assistant, 1 health care assistant, and a full administration team.

Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, and forward-thinking part-time (24 – 27 hrs per week) Practice Manager to lead our dedicated team at Goodheart Surgery. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader with at least three years experience in practice management or a senior leadership role, ideally within a healthcare setting.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, delegation, and management skills, together with the ability to implement and embed effective, efficient working processes. You will be confident working under pressure, adaptable to change, and committed to delivering high standards across the practice.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the business including managing staff, recruitment, health and safety, managing complaints, practice finances and ensuring the practice is CQC compliant.
At least 3 years previous management experience, excellent communication, proven senior leadership experience.
This vacancy has arisen due to the forthcoming retirement of our current Practice Manager.
Interviews will take place in the month of August with an expected start date between December 2026 and February 2027.
