In July 2023 the new division Communication Services Europe (aka Cool Stuff Europe) was launched. Within this organization a department called Consulting Mothership will be formed.
Orange Business aims to be come the best in class network native digital services provider/integrator. In order to support this ambition Europe Region aims to expand its consultative selling model. Previously there were two groups of Consultants in the European region: Business Consultants and Technical consultants. Within the new CS organization these two groups will be merged into one mothership. The aim of the mothership is multiple
* Develop a comprehensive GTM for consultative selling which is closely connected to our Strategic Value Propositions
* Support the creation of Customer Value Proposition.
* Ensure that the resource pool is of the highest quality (with the best cost model) to provide support to our territories.
Our customer centric model puts the customer P/L at the center. This means that it are the territory teams that decide on business priorities. They will request (and fund) the required resources they need to be successful. The role of the mothership is to have these talents ready to roll.
Team Management
* Ensure the team has the right skills and abilities to manage their individual domains.
* Hire new team members if required, in collaboration with internal processes
* Establish an efficient team management structure
* Develop and coach the team members
* Handle all administrative activities related team management
* Ensure optimum usage of each resource across the region.
* Pro actively upskill people.
* Work in close alignment with territories to understand the business requirements that need to be translated in resource availability
* Establish effective resource allocation model in close collaboration with the Pre Sales Mothership
* Management and people development of the team (manager of managers)
* Ensure that customer implementations are done with the highest quality, on time, on budget. Be coach for the whole team.
Business Management
* Ensure that ARVI numbers are met in line with local territory P/L model.
* Establish workload forecast methodology to anticipate up and down times
* Establish free lance model to have quick access to new hires.
* Provide regular reporting on activities
* Define Practice areas that align with Territories and SVP’s and ensure training and capitalization of expertise and experience are to be clearly articulated.
* Maintain Market intelligence and technology awareness and develop the Intellectual Capital in the region
* Collaborate with peers to ensure one Europe Voice
* Interface with International Consulting practise to share and learn. And to ensure global Orange standards are executed in Region
Financial Managment
* Analyse financial reports and discuss improvements with territory leads.
* Ensure proper balance between near shore and off shore resources (right pyramid model)
* Understand consulting pipeline and impact on resource requirement.
Stakeholder Managment
* Be part of Communication Services Management Team
* Engage with peers and with right stakeholders in collaborative and constructive model.
* Actively communicate with clients if required.
* Be the promotor of Orange Business
* Develop and maintain high level customer contacts for the maximization of business opportunities and resolution of conflicts
* Be point of contact for customer escalations related to consulting activities/deliveries and work towards constructive (re)solutions.
Transformational & Strategy
* Together with CS Management team develop the transformation plan to define the future organisation of consulting mothership
* Be the owner of the execution of this plan including the KPI’s
* Maintain Market intelligence and technology awareness and develop the Intellectual Capital in the region
About you
* People leader fearless of making the calls when needed
* Experience consulting director
* Technical capabilities
* Excellent Financial and analytical experience. Understanding P/L
* Organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize projects and/or deliverables.
* Proven experience running and Developing Consulting Pre-Sales Activity
* Strategic planning abilities.
* Ability to lead, motivate and team.
* Hands on and proven experience in the delivery of complex consulting engagements
* Excellent skills in communication at all levels
* Visionary in where Orange Consulting team should move towards to.
* Preference for vertical understanding is an asset (manufacturing, finance)
* Experience in successfully establishing and managing consulting partner network
* Minimum 15 years working experience preferably in complex matrix model
* Able to define and create a transformation plan as well as executing it
* Understanding of OBS products, processes & tools and the associated organizations
* Organisation, co-ordination, communication, presentation, synthesis and reporting skills
* Open mindset, willing to discover new areas in a complex environment
* Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills.
* Team player, used to work with different cultures and to work in a virtual matrix team environment.
* Ability to innovate and find improved ways of doing things
* Experience with process developments and optimization
