The Opportunity
A major civil infrastructure partner delivering a multi-billion-pound nuclear framework in West Cumbria is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to spearhead the digital delivery approach. You’ll take ownership of BIM processes across design and construction, ensuring consistent standards, seamless collaboration, and data-driven decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
The Role
This role would suit candidates working as BIM Leads, Digital Engineering Managers, Information Managers, BIM Coordinators, Digital Construction Managers, CDE Managers, Design Technology Managers, Technical Managers, Engineering Information Leads, or VDC Managers. We would also welcome applications from those in rail, highways, water, energy, or industrial engineering environments.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
* Creating, maintaining, and overseeing project BIM strategies and documentation aligned with recognised industry standards.
* Administering and controlling the project’s digital information hub to ensure accurate and accessible data.
* Managing coordination activities across design, engineering, and construction disciplines to maintain consistent digital workflows.
* Checking and validating models and data to support informed decision-making throughout every project phase.
* Supporting project teams and supply chain partners with training, advice, and ongoing guidance in BIM tools and processes.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
* A solid track record delivering BIM management on major infrastructure schemes.
* Strong understanding of current BIM standards and leading digital construction approaches.
* Competence using widely adopted modelling and coordination software such as Revit, Navisworks, or Bentley-based systems.
* Clear communication ability with confidence engaging diverse stakeholders.
* Proven capability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams, ideally within regulated sectors.
