Post: EDS Dental Nurse Pay: £17.67 per hour Weekend & Bank Holiday Enhancements Hours: Maternity cover (Jan 26 31st July 26) Evening and Weekends Accountable to: Senior Dental Nurse Base: Whitegate Drive Health Centre, Blackpool Closing Date: 16th December 2025 Overview of Role: £17.67 per hour with enhancements for weekends and bank holiday shifts.
Bank/Zero Hours contract, flexible rotas, most nurses alongside other employment.
1/2 shifts per week, and able to cover occasionally at short notice.
Shift patterns (may vary): o Monday to Friday: 5.45pm
- 30pm o Saturday & BH: 10:15am
- 6pm o Sunday: 10:15am
- Confident dental nurse able to work as a team in a busy, and sometimes unpredictable environment.

We are intuitive to changing needs and respond quickly which we do with energy, ideas, and positivity Person Specification Experience Essential GDC registered Dental Nurse Desirable Experience in an emergency dental setting preferable.
Knowledge or experience of Dentally software.
Personal Qualities Essential Honest Confidence with patients and unexpected situations Teamworking and able to work autonomously.
Desirable IT Skills Experience of picking up safeguarding concerns & being able to ask probing questions in a delicate manger to obtain important information.
Qualifications Essential NVQ L3 or equivalent in Dental Nursing.
Desirable Dental Radiography IT Skills Experience of picking up safeguarding concerns & being able to ask probing questions in a delicate manger to obtain important information.
