Cyber Security Engineer 37 hours per week Permanent contract £31,537 - £42,839 The ICT shared service provides ICT services for the three South Worcestershire councils – Malvern Hills District Council, Worcester City Council, and Wychavon District Council. We provide support and development to the 700 users. The Cyber Security Team are on the frontline of defending the Councils from a cyber attack. About you The successful candidate will be involved in: monitoring and reporting of existing security systems implementation of new security systems ensuring compliance with security accreditations responding to incidents and carrying out security investigations You will need to have a good working knowledge of: Cyber security risks and mitigations IT security standards and frameworks IT security tools and their implementation including vulnerability scanning and server patching.
