Position: Sous Chef
Employer: Premium Italian Restaurant
Location: Bothwell, South Lanarkshire, Scotland
Gross OTE Salary package: £36,000 to £45,000
Weekly working hours/days: 40 to 48 hours within 5/6 days

Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Head Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver exceptional Italian cuisine
* Supervise junior chefs and manage food preparation and presentation
* Oversee purchasing, stock control, and maintain food cost and gross profit targets
* Handle relevant administrative duties and contribute to menu development
* Operate in a fast‑paced environment and work efficiently under pressure
Minimum Qualifications
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
* Experience in the preparation of authentic, high‑quality Italian dishes
* Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
* Industrial training from a world‑renowned culinary/hospitality institute
* At least 3 years in the role of Sous Chef, with a minimum of 6 years of prior experience in escalating job ranks
* Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
* Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
