Job Title: Patient Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 hours a week (7.30am to 5.30pm, 4 days per week)
Salary: £24,784.50
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships and is passionate about providing excellent care to our patients. The focus of the role is working on our reception, being the first point of contact for our patients. You will be responsible for meeting patients, taking inbound and making outbound calls to patients about their appointments, and performing administration duties as they arise while following processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Meet & greet patients
* Support patients and be first point of contact
* Maintain high standards of patient care at all times, responding sensitively to patients who are emotional and/or distressed
* Provide advice to patients about the services we provide which are available to them
* Use communication skills including empathy, tact and reassurance in handling all calls
* Maintain a robust approach to data quality and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
* Natural ability to empathise with patients and demonstrate genuine care
* Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems
* The ability to learn and adapt to new internal systems
* Self‑motivated and self‑starter with the ability to prioritise and schedule work independently
* Approachable and friendly manner to welcome patients into our hospitals and clinics
