IT Manager required by a not for profit organisation based in Central London, paying up to £80k. The successful IT Manager will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for the whole IT Infrastructure across the organisation; you will have 7 staff reporting to you. This is a Hybrid role, 40% home-based, 1 compulsory day in the office per week, where everyone is present on the same day.
As the IT Manager, you will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure across the organisation. You will have a team of four dedicated professionals working with you and an annual budget.
Your role will be instrumental in setting, agreeing, and implementing a strategic IT and Digital Strategy plan. Requiring someone with strong leadership and managerial skills who can take ownership of IT and deliver outstanding results. Your ability to stay focused on the goal, undeterred by distractions, will be key.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a dedicated team of seven talented IT professionals
Skillfully manage stakeholders and build strong relationships
Provide exceptional BAU (Business as Usual) support
Manage the budget responsibly
Collaborate with external Managed Service Providers
Ensure legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including GDPR, are met
Drive digital transformation initiatives
Oversee IT infrastructure and security measures

Microsoft Dynamics (on-premises and cloud)
SharePoint (on-premises, Azure, and public cloud)
Microsoft 365 suite,
Microsoft Modern Workplace strategy
Cloud & Infrastructure
Cloud migration projects
Private and public cloud environments
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience using Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
VMWare or other virtualisation platforms
Networking, firewalls, and remote access technologies such as SSL VPN and modern alternatives
Systems & Platforms
Managing and maintaining case management systems
AI-related infrastructure support, particularly around data pipelines or monitoring systems
Involvement in website and CMS redevelopment projects
IT Operations & Management
Knowledge of ITIL standards and process alignment
