Lead Compliance Manager
to oversee all compliance matters across their Northern Ireland operations. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for ensuring the business meets evolving regulatory requirements while supporting its growth and sustainability ambitions.

Responsibilities of this Lead Compliance Manager job include:
* Take overall ownership of compliance across multiple divisions, including wholesale, retail, foodservice, and licensed trade.
* Monitor and embed new legislation (e.g. Windsor Framework, deposit return schemes, alcohol and excise regulations, sustainability reporting).
* Develop and update policies and procedures to ensure robust compliance frameworks.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to implement best practice processes and maintain accurate records.
* Provide strategic input into business decision-making from a compliance perspective.
* Oversee audits and support Finance with legal and statutory obligations.
* Lead and develop the compliance team, driving accountability and fostering talent.
* Deliver ongoing training and clear communication to colleagues on compliance responsibilities.
* Represent the business with regulators, industry groups, and trade associations where required.
Requirements of this Lead Compliance Manager job include:
* Degree or diploma in business, law, or a related field (preferred).
* Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
* Proven track record in managing compliance within retail, wholesale, or alcohol environments.
* Knowledge of excise duty regimes (duty paid/deferred) and regulatory frameworks.
* Skilled at building relationships and influencing at senior level.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, including policy drafting and report writing.
* Detail-focused, logical, and proactive in approach.
* Passionate about raising standards and driving continuous improvement.
