Working as Senior Accounts & Tax Manager, and reporting into the Directors. Will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and individuals. Will also be required to carry out preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, so knowledge and experience of this will also be required. Will also be responsible for the management of junior and other staff members, so the ability to delegate and review work is essential. Based in our Liverpool office and working as part of a team of 16. Overall reporting line into Partners. Requirements - Experience in an accountancy practice – minimum of 5 years required - Accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to manage time and meet deadlines - Ability to speak with and advise clients - Knowledge of current accounts and tax legislation - Knowledge of CCH would be preferable, although not essential - Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is required Duties to include - Provide end-to-end business management services to clients, including bookkeeping, cash flow management, payment processing, and financial oversight - Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant reporting and disclosure requirements - Coordinate tax filings and maintain regulatory compliance for client entities Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day financial operations and delivering tailored advice - Oversee and execute banking transactions and client payment schedules in a secure and timely manner - Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in all interactions - Corporation Tax computations and Returns - VAT Returns - Bookkeeping - Company Secretarial duties - Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships
