Responsibilities:
* Understand the science and product strategy for assigned projects
* Conduct research, review literature, and gather competitive information
* Appreciate the commercial context and integrate relevant information
* Align written work with brand strategic objectives
* Follow ABPI code of conduct with guidance and training
* Draft and structure various documents such as manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, websites, and reports
* Ensure communication objectives are met using therapy area knowledge
* Adapt writing style for different audiences
* Manage and own assigned projects
* Maintain quality control through proofreading and reviews
* Coordinate with clients and respond to requests promptly
* Contribute to proposal development and pitches
* Participate in team brainstorms and research presentations
* Clarify project timelines and priorities, flagging potential issues early
* Support team knowledge sharing and professional development
* Participate in performance reviews and meet objectives
* Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and briefs
* Complete timesheets and expense claims accurately
* Engage with industry developments and trends
Ideal Candidate:

* Experience in medical writing, preferably in an agency setting
* Relevant science degree (Masters preferred)
* Strong scientific background with quick learning ability in new therapeutic areas
* Knowledge of clinical trials and statistical variables

* Organized, analytical, and communicative
* Independent yet collaborative team player
* Professional, client-focused, and able to manage upward
* Energetic and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
Work Environment:
