Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)
Job Description
We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities of the Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer:
* Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
* Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, adhering to approved procedures, including technical specifications
* Provide technical oversight on new product or service ideas and develop plans for new designs
* Prepare complex MOVA designs and datasets
* Ensure compliance with design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
* Perform MOVA validations of complex junctions and roundabouts
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate has experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and is looking to progress to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing fresh perspectives to existing solutions within the Traffic Signal Design industry.
Key Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
* Microsoft Office skills
* Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller specifications
* Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
* Knowledge of LinSig 3
* Full UK driving license
