Salary – Starting from £31,512 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re seeking a Room Leader to join our Wandsworth Nursery, located in Wandsworth near Clapham Junction Overground station, with onsite parking available.
The nursery has 68 places across 5 well-resourced rooms, an excellent garden area with a mud kitchen, bikes, and scooters for children to enjoy. It is also close to many local parks, providing additional outdoor learning and exploration opportunities.

The Role
As a Room Leader, you will lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education, helping children in your room develop and meet their individual milestones. You will promote child welfare, health and safety, safeguarding, and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and professionals to meet each child's needs.
What we’re looking for
* Full and relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification
* Previous experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar role
* Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and relevant legislative requirements
* Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents/carers
* Effective communication skills with children and adults
