My client, a highly successful accountancy practice, are looking to add a Practice Accountant to their team to aid with their continued growth plans. What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Practice Accountant: Managing your own broad portfolio of clients Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual accounts, Payroll preparation Handling client, HMRC and other third party associated queries Working with Client Managers and Director to improve processes Required Skills and Qualifications of the Practice Accountant: ACCA/ACA qualified is highly desirable, however Part Qual or QBE considered Previous experience within a practice environment is essential Proven payroll experience Strong IT skills and prior use of Xero is highly desirable Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to nurture strong colleague and client relationships My client is offering a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience If you are interested and have the relevant experience, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV and we promise to get back to you.
