Business Development Manager – IT Sector

Location: Wolverhampton (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 basic + Uncapped Commission

The Opportunity: Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to spearhead new business growth.

This is a consultative, solution-led sales role where you’ll engage senior decision-makers, identify operational challenges, and position tailored IT services that create measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities: Business Development Manager

Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach (calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking)
Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline
Qualify prospects and identify opportunities aligned to company services
Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders and C-level decision-makers
Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand client needs and present tailored IT solutions
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and deal closureAbout You: Business Development Manager

Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation
Experience within IT, technology, or managed services (desirable but not essential)
Target-focused, resilient, and self-motivated
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident using CRM systems and modern sales tools
