We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Chiltern team based in St Albans. This is a brilliant opportunity to take the next step up in your career. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain the divisional cash book, post transactions and complete monthly bank reconciliations * Process ad-hoc manual payments * Raise Sales Contract and Sales Ledger invoices as required. * Prepare monthly Sales and Cost of Sales journals for plots legally completing in the month. * Complete monthly VAT returns * Post and agree Inter-company balances. * Check Subcontract payment run complies with VAT rules and submit for payment * Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. * Assist in the production of the monthly Board Pack and the monthly Management Pack * Support with completing the Half Year and Full Year End Reporting, completion of Statutory Packs * Monthly calculation of Sales Executives commission and bonus payments. * Attend monthly Sales & Marketing cost reviews and maintain forecasts against budget with variance analysis. * Liaison with managers to resolve bought ledger queries including invoices awaiting approval, retrospective PO’s. * Provide cover for other team members as required The Company Crest Nicholson is a leading developer of quality homes and thriving, sustainable communities.
