As a Senior Project Controls Engineer, you have a passion to provide the project controls service as required by our clients, which may include:
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain project schedules that support and align with project requirements.
* Develop the project schedules in conjunction with the project manager and project team.
* Reduce uncertainty, understand objectives, and improve efficiency.
* Interact with and assist project managers to schedule work and coordinate assignments.
* Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying developing problem areas.
* Assist project managers to maintain timely and effective change management processes and procedures.
* Assist project team to develop status reports, keeping management informed on project progress.
* Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

Qualifications
* Professional Project Controls experience, specialising in Planning & Scheduling in one or more sectors across the whole Project lifecycle.
* Strong knowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) and other planning and resourcing software.
* Ability to coordinate and work with other teams and have multi-disciplinary knowledge.
* Degree in a relevant technical or management field or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience.
* Member of a relevant professional body, e.g., Association for Project Management, Project Management Institute.
* Strong leadership with the ability to mobilise, inspire and lead by example.
* Strong stakeholder management experience.
* Eligibility for roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and residency, as many of the clients and projects we support are subject to MoD security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.

The Defence Infrastructure Cost Centre provides support to projects that range in complexity and size, with service offerings spanning Programme and Project Management, Project Planning, Cost Engineering, Risk Management, and Commercial Disciplines. We support the full project lifecycle, both pre‑contract and post‑contract, delivering infrastructure projects on behalf of our clients that range from several hundred thousand pounds to major projects and programmes worth over £200M.
