Are you an English graduate with a passion for helping children develop essential reading and writing skills? Local primary schools across Wigan are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to support pupils with phonics, reading, writing tasks, and general literacy development.
About the Role
You’ll be working within welcoming primary school environments, supporting children both 1:1 and in small groups. Your focus will be on strengthening pupils’ confidence and ability in:
* Phonics (including early reading strategies).
* Reading fluency and comprehension.
* Spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
* Creative and structured writing tasks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
