The Post:
Our Communications and Marketing team plays a key role in this mission –translating complex information into compelling messages that inspire action and drive change.
We’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join our skilled, fast-paced and dynamic team. If you’re organised, proactive and enthusiastic about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
As Communications and Marketing Coordinator you will support the team in the delivery of high quality communications and marketing activity by:
* providing exceptional customer service – acting as the first point of contact into the team for many enquiries and acting as an ambassador for the communications and marketing team
* coordinating key administrative processes, including team logistics and participating in rota duties
* managing smaller scale projects such as events planning and logistics
* contributing to the management, maintenance and evaluation of our corporate channels
* writing, editing and supporting the development and co-ordination of content across a range of channels and outputs
* supporting with budget management, including keeping key spreadsheets up to date
* working across the communications and marketing functions – strategic planning, employee engagement, press office and corporate communications to improve processes and drive innovation.

The Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running and bring energy, creativity and structure to our team. You’ll have:
* a qualification at HND level in communications, marketing or related subject, or equivalent level of experience
* excellent written and verbal communications skills
* experience in planning and delivering events
* excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* a proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands
* experience of writing and editing content for a range of audiences and platforms
* a user focused mindset and the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
* confidence in using your initiative to solve problems and meet tight deadlines.
Location and Working Pattern:
Hybrid working is offered but candidates may choose to work solely in the office. Offices are based at Central Quay, Glasgow or Gyle Square, Edinburgh.
Please note that PHS will be relocating from Central Quay, Glasgow to Bothwell Street, Glasgow in 2025.
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

During times of public health emergency, or other urgent business need, you may be required on a temporary basis to work your normal contracted working hours over 7 days including weekends, in order to meet the needs of the service.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with PHS.
