I’m supporting a global London Market specialty insurance client in the search for a Senior Compliance Officer (Business Partner) to join their compliance function. As Senior Compliance Officer you will:
* Act as a trusted advisory partner to underwriting, risk, governance, operational resilience and customer outcomes teams.
* Provide guidance on regulatory obligations in a practical, solution‑focused way.
* Support the business on regulatory change implementation, remediation plans, and actions arising from monitoring, internal audit or regulatory interactions.
* Contribute to new product launches, growth initiatives and distribution changes.
* Prepare reporting for senior leadership, committees and boards.
* Support compliance risk assessments and help shape the wider advisory framework.
* Build strong internal relationships across the international business.
* Keep the business informed of evolving regulatory expectations through industry engagement and horizon‑scanning.
Essential skills:
* Proven compliance experience within the Lloyd's and London market insurance sector.
* Strong working knowledge of FCA and PRA regulatory requirements.
* Confident communicator who can influence and challenge respectfully at all levels.
* Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and preparing high‑quality reports.
