Mill/Winder Operator

American RENOLIT Corporation specializes in the manufacturing of plastic films that are used in the Graphics, Signage, and Labeling industry. Your tasks at RENOLIT
1. Communicate with the Calender Operator to find out the plc settings for the mill or winder
2. Prepare and start up the extruder, and mill also assist with threading the line up during start up
3. Refeed rolls as instructed by the calendar operator
4. Follow all relevant policies and procedures (Safety, 5S, and ARC policies)
5. Provide instruction for co-workers in the correct operation of the extruder and mill
6. Properly conduct quality tests and ensure proper use of quality equipment
7. Keep the calendar operator informed if any of the quality tests are out of specification
8. Prepare all packaging materials for the orders according to the packaging instructions in CoAgo
9. Package rolls
10. Correctly enter QC and production data into CoAgo
11. Keep work area(s) orderly and clean according to 5s standards
12. Take care of the edge trims as well as any scrap rolls in the winder area
13. If the line is down clean the mill and winder area as well as the extruder hopper or hoppers

17. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds regularly
18. Ability to read a tape measure accurately (metric and standard)
19. Basic math skills
