ACRS Ltd, one of Worcestershire's leading air conditioning and refrigeration contractors, are looking for an experienced Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration engineer to join our team.
The position will be based from our Pershore office, where you will be working alongside our friendly team of engineers carrying out servicing, maintenance and installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems within the Vale area. Main duties include being fully experienced in fault finding on refrigeration equipment and confident in first fixability.
Hours of work will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm in addition to an on-call rota of 1 in 5. Occasional additional weekend and/or evening work may be required, depending on the demands of the business.
We do not carry out work for supermarkets or large government contracts as we focus mainly on a local customer base, with very little working away from home.
Role responsibilities include the following:
Identifying and rectifying faults on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Supporting other engineers with refrigeration PPMs within residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Support improvers and apprentices on behalf of the MD.
Guidance to customers as required on functional and technical information.
Troubleshooting on difficult repairs.
Maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
The right candidate must possess the following:
6-10 years' experience in the field of commercial refrigeration fault finding.
F-Gas Registered.
Live within a 20-mile radius of Pershore due to our on-call service with local clients or willingness to relocate.
IPAF training is preferred but training can be given.
Be able to follow technical drawings, building plans and other instructions.
Be analytical with good evaluation skills.
Able to work within a team but also alone autonomously.
Be presentable with a pleasant manner.
Be able to pass DBS Clearance for working in schools
