Family Law Solicitor
Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day in-office per week)
About the Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Family Law Solicitor (NQ to Lead level) to join a growing and innovative legal team. This is a rare chance to take ownership of a varied caseload within a highly rated, client-focused department. The role will involve:
Managing a full and varied caseload of privately funded family matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and children matters.
Negotiating settlements and outcomes with a focus on client care.
Using a case management system to ensure accurate and efficient case progression.
Drafting and auditing legal documents and correspondence.
Working towards individual and team chargeable time and billing targets.
Providing mentorship and line management if at senior or lead level.
Contributing to team strategy, marketing, and department development (Lead level only).
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified Solicitor or CILEX with experience in family law.
Demonstrate solid billing performance and target achievement.
Be proficient in using case management systems and legal IT tools.
Possess strong interpersonal and client care skills.
Show excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
Be proactive and open to change in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
