Field Engineering Project Coordinator (UK/IE)
Approx. £390pd PAYE | Harlow (On-Site)
Scope:
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the UK Field Engineering team during the deployment of engineering solutions (e.g. Matrix, ADTFs, ADTAs, ASLs, Tippers, retrofits) at new and existing delivery stations across the UK and Ireland.
Travel Requirement:
75–100% on-site presence during project deployment phases at delivery station locations across the UK/IE.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
* Conduct on-site verification of engineering drawings; identify clashes with existing or planned infrastructure.
* Raise MCMs for each project phase and address feedback from all approver groups before work begins.
Project Execution:
* Coordinate and lead daily calls with vendors, Operations, WHS, and RME; provide daily summary updates to the UK Field Engineering Project Manager.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, gather stakeholder feedback, and address concerns; escalate issues when necessary.
* Manage AMZL-supplied materials (e.g. signage, racking); track inventory, identify shortages, and coordinate on-site logistics and labour.
* Liaise with IT teams to access IDF cabinets, oversee data cable terminations, and validate network installation and functionality.
* Support site acceptance testing with continuous on-site presence (typically 4–5 days).
Project Closure:
* Collect and validate vendor documentation (e.g. Declarations of Conformity); ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Organize and store final documentation in designated platforms (e.g. MyMHE+, shared drives).
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or related field).
* Proven experience managing moderately complex projects.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
