Key responsibilities will include: To ensure area is prepared ready for shift start Conduct preventative maintenance to agreed tasks and schedule Ensure all machinery checks are conducted in a timely manner To carry out relevant checks to the correct standards To complete necessary paperwork Escalate issues to the engineering section Being proactive on ways to improve machines or processes To support the Section Manager in encouraging safe working behaviours, adhering to company rules and regulations Covering Process Leader in their absence Ensure that the Health and Safety Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Working Procedures are properly managed and adhered to at all times What we are looking for: A good level of English and basic numeracy skills Good teamwork and communication skills Attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks Be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadline Working Hours Sunday to Thursday - 18:00 - 03:00 A little about us: Avara Foods supply chicken and turkey to the nation’s most popular supermarkets and restaurants.
