This is a unique opportunity to work client-side, embedded within a collaborative delivery environment, where your decisions directly shape outcomes for communities.**The Opportunity*** As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of highway improvement and maintenance schemes, working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and specialists.* You’ll take ownership of project performance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.## Your role* Lead the end-to-end delivery of work packages within a major highways programme.* Provide expert project and programme leadership, ensuring best practice standards.* Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cost, schedule, risks, and delivery strategy.* Build and maintain strong stakeholder and alliance relationships.* Produce clear, insightful monthly reports (programme, financials, risk).* Drive effective communication and collaboration across project teams.* Proactively identify opportunities to add value and improve delivery outcomes.## About you**Experience & Qualifications*** Project Management qualification (APM, PMP, PRINCE2) or demonstrable experience delivering complex projects.* Desired experience in transportation or infrastructure projects.**Key Skills*** Strong leadership with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships.* Confidence in managing change, risk, and resource planning.* Experience working with NEC4 contracts is an advantage.* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and financial reporting.* Ability to work both independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.* A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.## Rewards & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
