As a Lead Operations Accountant / Business Partner, you will play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate operational financial data to support key business decisions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to interrogate large datasets, uncovering valuable insights that drive performance improvements and process efficiencies. Ensuring financial integrity will be at the heart of your role, as you help safeguard the business’s assets and contribute to its long-term success. Crit ical purpose of role: Deliver timely and accurate operational financial data to the business Interrogate large amounts of data to gain insights into business process and performance Protect the business assets through financial integrity Main responsibilities: Deliver accurate weekly and periodic manufacturing and logistics P&Ls for multiple sites in the UK & US Reconcile COGs and gross margin, investigating variances and discrepancies Responsible for weekly operational variance reporting, direct and indirect labour analysis and fixed costs Review weekly PI counts & stock reporting to support purchasing and operational forecasting Business partner Senior Manufacturing and Logistics managers ensuring delivery of accurate and timely financial information Lead and develop operational reporting packs including commentary to identify and drive operational efficiencies Deliver insightful analysis on financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities and drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and systems.
