Arla Foods are currently looking to hire a Supply Planner to join our thriving Supply Planning function working hybrid from our head office in Leeds. In this role you will report to the Supply Planning Manager, and will work on a global scale ensuring delivery on our Delivery Accuracy targets and reduce waste across the category.
Key responsibilities:
1. Based on forecasted demand, provide timely production volumes that contribute to the delivery of high customer DA whilst minimising waste of finished goods
2. Monitor demand and FC variance in the short term, review with demand Planning and adjust future plans to correct expected stock position
3. Work closely with relevant internal colleagues (i.e. Demand and collaboration, Brand, commercial account managers, Product Managers) to identify future issues / opportunities that provide the optimum customer delivery
4. Build strong relationships with DK Global Planning function and site contacts to enable effective communication and delivery of UK requirements.
5. Ensuring continuous improvement of the replenishment planning process and system and identifying and suggesting improvements in the rest of the value chain
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working within an FMCG environment, ideally within a similar production/ replenishment planning role. You will have a strong understanding of the levers involved in end to end supply chains and experience of managing and delivering supply related projects.
6. Competent SAP user
7. APO experience preferable
8. Ideally, previous experience of BW and BI reporting
9. Presentation of data – analysis and interpretation leading to possible outcomes.
