About the Role
Joining Waterman Aspen as a Structural Engineer will see you as a key member of the South West and Wales team and you can expect:

Responsibilities
* Conducting structural assessments using Eurocodes and British Standards.
* Managing project schedules and ensuring quality deliverables, including inspections and reports.
* Collaborating with clients and partners to develop buildable and maintainable solutions.
* Experience in the design of new highway structures as well as maintenance of existing assets.
* Prepare technical reports (e.g. feasibility/options reports, assessment reports and other technical reports)
* Applying best practice and innovative approaches in all projects.
* Conducting site surveys and inspections.
Qualifications
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Civil /Structural Engineer with extensive Bridge design experience to join our growing team.
Required Skills
* Conducting structural assessments using Eurocodes and British Standards.
* Managing project schedules and ensuring quality deliverables, including inspections and reports.
* Collaborating with clients and partners to develop buildable and maintainable solutions.
* Experience in the design of new highway structures as well as maintenance of existing assets.
* Prepare technical reports (e.g. feasibility/options reports, assessment reports and other technical reports)
* Applying best practice and innovative approaches in all projects.
* Conducting site surveys and inspections.
Preferred Skills
* Proven experience in structural design using British Standards
* Familiarity with current design practices and local/national guidance.
* Proficiency in structural analysis software packages.
