Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Server to join our dynamic team. As a Head Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing the serving staff. Your expertise in hospitality and your ability to manage time effectively will ensure that our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and service, while also mentoring and training new team members.
Responsibilities
* Lead the serving team to provide outstanding guest services and ensure a memorable dining experience.
* Train and mentor new servers on restaurant policies, service techniques, and menu offerings.
* Oversee the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to food safety standards.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards before serving.
* Manage table assignments and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
* Maintain accurate records of orders and payments using basic math skills.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a restaurant setting with a strong background in hospitality.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
* Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences.
* Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £150.00-£300.00 per week
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
