Essential requirements
1. British nationality is required due to security constraints
2. Degree level education in electronic engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline
3. Practical software development capabilities using Python, C and C
4. Deep understanding of mobile networks, communication protocols and wireless technologies
What you will be doing
5. Conducting technical research into new defense projects to determine engineering feasibility
6. Developing functional prototypes and demonstrating proof of concept designs to clients
7. Articulating complex technical research findings clearly in both written reports and verbal briefings
8. Investigating mobile security architectures, trust certificates and cyber security incidents
Skills and background
9. Thorough knowledge of mobile networks, VPNs, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC
10. Understanding of cyber security incident response and mobile threat landscapes
11. Experience with eDiscovery tools or digital forensic methodologies
12. Strong professional curiosity with a commitment to continuous professional development
13. Ability to work independently to solve open ended research problems
