Teaching Assistants / Pastoral Support Workers
Location: Ysgol Maes Hyfryd, Flint (with work across Flintshire where required)
Contract: Term time only
Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only (Mon-Fri 12:00 - 15:00)
Grade: G01 (SCP 1–4)
Salary: £23,656 – £24,404 per annum (FTE)
Pro-rata salary: Approximately £7,950 – £8,200 per annum

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, empathetic, and skilled Teaching Assistants / Pastoral Support Workers to join our committed and caring team. This is a vital role in supporting our learners to engage positively in school life and achieve their full potential.
The role involves:
Working closely with pupils to meet their individual needs
Supporting wellbeing, communication, learning, and behaviour
Collaborating with families, school staff, and external professionals

Additional Requirements:
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration is required for all support staff in Wales.
This post involves substantial contact with children and/or vulnerable adults. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
