We’re looking for a Group FP&A Manager to join our finance team here at N Brown.
Group FP&A Manager – Responsibilities
* Strategic Planning and Forecasting – Own day‑to‑day budget creation, rolling forecasts, and long‑range financial plans (3 years).
* Performance Reporting and Analysis – Prepare monthly reporting packs, variance analysis, and interpret financial trends to support business decisions.
* Commercial Insights and Modelling – Build financial scenarios for strategic decisions, such as investment appraisals.
* Business Partnering – Work with Group leaders to track performance and understand variances.
* Liquidity and Cash Management – Create weekly cash flow forecasts.
* Funding and Capital Strategy – Report on banking covenants across securitisation and revolving credit facilities.
* Risk Management – Execute and manage interest‑rate and foreign‑exchange trades to mitigate financial risks.
* Governance and Compliance – Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
* Relationship Management – Maintain key relationships with banks, lenders, rating agencies and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experienced candidate from a numerical, accountancy, audit or analytical background.
* Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with significant post‑qualification experience.
* Strong financial control and modelling skills.
* Experience designing, governing, evaluating and testing forecasting models with stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to manage large data sets, ensuring clear audit trail and model governance.
* Cash and liquidity management experience.
* Strong storytelling abilities to explain financial results to non‑financial stakeholders up to Board level.
* Influence and negotiate across the organisation, communicating commercial language across media.
* Proven relationship building with internal and external key stakeholders.
* Inquisitive, with a desire to understand a broad range of commercial issues.
* Operational delivery track record, motivated to implement and deliver on time, quality standards and new efficient processes.
* Ability to appraise complex situations, identify key issues and make timely decisions.
* Process improvement experience, enhancing financial processes through simplification and automation.
* Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
* Experience with data languages (SQL) and Teradata is desirable.
* Experience in Power BI is desirable.
* Experience with Oracle Cloud Financial Systems and TM1 desirable but not essential.
