Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Hire Controller role based in Aberdeen. The Hire Controller will oversee the coordination of customer orders, ensuring tools or equipment are effectively delivered and collected on time. The daily tasks include managing incoming inquiries, processing hire agreements, scheduling deliveries and collections, and maintaining customer records. The role also involves assisting in maintaining stock accuracy, resolving customer queries efficiently, and ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional service standards.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and customer service skills for handling inquiries and providing exceptional service
* Experience in coordinating logistics, scheduling, and managing hire orders
* Basic IT skills, including proficiency in databases and office software
* Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills for resolving customer queries and maintaining records
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
* Previous experience in the tool hire or equipment hire industry is advantageous
* Knowledge of health, safety, and sustainability practices is a plus
