Project Manager – Noise Protection Barriers (Rail Infrastructure) Rate: £400–£550 a day Location: Ruislip We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide specialist labour and management for the installation of new noise protection barriers on both sides of a newly constructed track. The works involve a process-driven sequence of installation, including noise barriers retained by reinforced concrete torsion beams cast in situ by our team, along with the construction of associated drainage elements running alongside these works. Key Responsibilities Overall management and coordination of noise barrier installation works Planning, sequencing, and programming of works to meet project milestones Management of reinforced concrete torsion beam construction (cast in situ) Coordination and oversight of drainage works alongside barrier installation Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification Liaison with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards Essential Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Project Manager CSCS Black Card SMSTS certification Minimum NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) Temporary Works Coordinator training Strong knowledge of planning, programming, and process-driven construction sequences Desirable Skills Experience in rail or infrastructure projects Strong leadership and communication skills Proven ability to manage technically complex, sequential installations
